so - a bright day, and you know how things can escalate

it all started with a chain saw -

so i decided to cut down a few branches -

then we decided to burn the branches -

this is what the girls called a fire - so i had a go -

that's more like it - except it got a bit big, and burned the tree above -

it's amazing how things can get out of hand.

nb - this fire was still going after 6 days, and that was after it had rained, a lot....
