'conservatory' was the description on the house details.  previous versions of these pages gave this structure a short life-expectancy.  today was to be the day, but no-one could have imagined how fast events might happen....

ready - set - go  The APS camera was set to record the time on the picture 

- alas the wheelbarrow (tripod) obscured the bottom of the picture, and has 

been removed for aesthetics.  times are actual - enjoy;

after 2mins 30 seconds - the roof is gone

after 3 mins 45 seconds - the main structure is over

after 7 mins - time for Paula to tidy a bit

after 11 mins -  the remaining walls come down

 nb - this was the only wall that required tools to remove

after 23 mins - it took much longer to tidy the area than

to actually remove the structure.

after - a pleasant patio and sitting area

 nb - although the complete demolition took under 25 mins

it is still amazing how short a time it takes for the area to get that 'makeover' touch ..!!
